Choosing what fits

• Shape and size - 160x230 cm often fits a 3-seater sofa, 200x300 cm for a corner sofa. Round rugs of 160 to 200 cm work well under a round table. In the hallway, choose a runner of approx. 80x150 cm.

• Pile height - Low pile is ideal under dining tables and desks (chairs slide smoothly). High pile is wonderfully soft in the TV corner or bedroom.
• Underfloor heating - Check if the backing is suitable and preferably use an open structure for heat transfer.

Practical styling tips

• In the seating area, let at least the front legs of the sofa and armchairs rest on the rug for a cohesive look.
• Under the dining table, allow approximately 60 cm extra space around the table so that chairs remain on the rug when pulled in.
• Lay a non-slip underlay for extra comfort, less shifting, and extended lifespan.

Maintenance

• Vacuum 1 to 2 times a week with low to medium suction and no rotating brush for high-pile rugs.
• Rotate the rug 180 degrees quarterly to prevent wear and fading from sunlight.
